Evolve Dance Collective is designed for young people who are interested in exploring their full potential as a dancer before taking the next steps into higher education.
This year will be split into two modules:
Module 1 - Working with Kloe Dean - dance artist and choreographer who has worked with world class music artists including Little Simz
Module 2 - Working with Gabby Sanders - dance artist for Avant Garde, Ceyda Tanc and Tribe Company
There are two options:
Option 1:
Performance Technique Class with guest artist (10:00am-12:00pm)
Open to dancers who wish to attend every session or drop in to suit their availability
Work on freestyle development
Increase vocabulary for creative toolkit
Gain confidence in performing with authenticity
£15 per week (Pay What You Can Options Available)
Option 2:
Performance Technique Class + EVOLVE Performance Collective (10:00am-12:00pm + 1:00pm-3:00pm)
Open to dancers who can commit to attend every session
Work within a company setting to co-create performance pieces using choreography and freestyle
Multiple performance opportunities throughout the year
£30 per week (Pay What You Can Options Available)
Evolve Dance Collective is suitable for anyone aged 15-20yrs who would like to:
-Receive advanced dance training in a variety of styles
-Find your individual dance identity
-Access professional performance opportunities
-Work with likeminded creatives
Evolve Dance Collective is interested in supporting a more diverse cultural sector by championing non-traditional routes into dance.
